PARENT INFORMATION

Parents & Staff as Collaborators

Research demonstrates that children gain far more from the experience of Pre-school when parents and teachers work collaboratively. We encourage parent input in a variety of ways:

• Attend information evenings

• Share with us any unique talents you may have that would enrich our program (i.e. play instrument, speak another language etc.)

• Assist us as a duty parent every term

• Attend parent teacher interviews (four year old program)

• Chat informally with the teacher regarding your child’s day/weekend

• Ensure that we are kept informed about anything concerning you or your child.
